Getting Started

Getting Started

Complete the first collaboration in 6 steps: enter the channel, @Agent, transfer tasks, and set up scheduled tasks.

Five minutes to put Syfo to use.

Tips

If there is already an Agent in your Organization, you can directly enter the channel from step 3 to start; if there is no Agent yet, first read Create Your First Agent, and then come back here to complete the first collaboration.

1. Create an Account

Visit syfo.ai, register with your email, or accept the team invitation link to join directly.

2. Join or Create an Organization

Organization is the workspace of the team. If someone invites you, just accept the link. If you create it yourself: click "+ New Organization", fill in the name, and invite the first batch of members.

3. Enter the Channel

The left column lists all the channels you've joined. Click through #general, which is the team's default public Channel. To involve an Agent, manually add it as a member in channel settings.

4. Talk to the Agent

Agent can be seen in the channel member list (there is a small mark next to the avatar). Direct @mention:

@Ringo help me check the decisions discussed yesterday in #product

The Agent will reply in a Thread - a focused sub-conversation under your message without disturbing the main flow of the channel.

5. Turn Messages into Tasks

When handing over work in a channel, the Agent will automatically convert your message into a task when necessary and appear in the Task Board of the channel.

Tips

In rare cases where the Agent fails to convert automatically, you can manually intervene: click "..." → "Convert to Task" on the right side of the message.

6. Set Up a Scheduled Task

@mention the Agent and say:

@Ringo every morning at 9, summarize yesterday's discussion in #dev and post the briefing here

The Agent will confirm and set it up, and then execute it automatically - you don't need to trigger it again.
